LoafStory is a web application for creating, storing, and managing bread recipes. Some features use AI (via the OpenAI API) to assist with recipe parsing and generation.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information during registration.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all recipes and content you create. We do not claim any rights to your content beyond what is necessary to operate the service.

5. AI Features & API Key

AI-powered recipe features require you to provide your own OpenAI API key. You are solely responsible for any costs incurred through your use of the OpenAI API. Your API key is stored in a secure, HTTP-only browser cookie and is only used to make requests on your behalf.

AI-generated recipes are provided as suggestions. We make no guarantees about their accuracy, safety, or suitability. Always use your own judgment when following any recipe.

6. Availability

We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This does not affect mandatory consumer protection rights under Austrian or EU law.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria. If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
